Hey, EED community!
Welcome to our first ever random community challenge! Today is for exercising! Also for reporting in! Our record is two days in early October when 15 people reported. Let's see if we can break that today! We're currently 94 subscribers and 82 members stong. We can blast that 15 out of the water!
If you are posting for the first time, or new to the community, please review the community's standards, below.
1. Mod (that's me!) will post a Daily Check In post, for those who prefer to note their daily activities in response to a prompt. Please only place exercise comments here.
2. All members are encouraged to post daily independent posts about their activities, if they prefer that to a prompt.
3. Please place any NON-EXERCISE comments in independent update posts and behind a cut. Some people are sensitive to discussion of diet and nutrition. That is integral to many people's exercise activities, so I want members to be able to discuss that, but for those who are here strictly to log exercise, I would like them to be able to avert their eyes.
4. Everyone is encouraged to introduce themselves, discuss their exercise goals, and post updates on their activities. "I finally made it to running a mile!" or "I kicked up into handstand today!" are updates that we all want to hear about and share! Please put long posts and entries involving diet and nutrition behind a cut, though.
5. Aside from intro posts and injury announcements, please try to include an exercise update in every post.

Date: 2010-11-27 01:48 pm (UTC)But I will be up and down stairs constantly today, so if I don't escape the bedlam to go run around the neighborhood screaming like a madwoman, this can be my check-in.
ETA: We cleared out the library to put my aunt's cot in and now the cot has been put away and the crap has not been put back yet and there is NOBODY IN THE LIBRARY. *yogas* I feel so much better now.

Date: 2010-11-27 09:04 pm (UTC)Hee! I had that experience this week, too; couldn't yoga at my regular time cause I would have been doing it on top of my daughter's head. I had to yoga mid-evening, which was also hard to arrange around all the eating. *whine whine whine*
*yogas* I feel so much better now.
I bet you do! Sometimes we just need to work around our blessings.

Date: 2010-11-27 10:57 pm (UTC)The weather turned bad early this year, and the road's been too muddy to run on, so I've abandoned my plans to run a half marathon in December. I got up to 11 miles before rain and snow and ice got in the way. Looks like I'll have plenty of wood chopping and snow shoveling to keep me busy this winter, though.
