Hey, EED community!

Here is your daily check-in post! Hope everyone is having a great day!

If you are posting for the first time, or new to the community, please review the community's standards, below.


1. Mod (that's me!) will post a Daily Check In post, for those who prefer to note their daily activities in response to a prompt. Please only place exercise comments here.

2. All members are encouraged to post daily independent posts about their activities, if they prefer that to a prompt.

3. Please place any NON-EXERCISE comments in independent update posts and behind a cut. Some people are sensitive to discussion of diet and nutrition. That is integral to many people's exercise activities, so I want members to be able to discuss that, but for those who are here strictly to log exercise, I would like them to be able to avert their eyes.

4. Everyone is encouraged to introduce themselves, discuss their exercise goals, and post updates on their activities. "I finally made it to running a mile!" or "I kicked up into handstand today!" are updates that we all want to hear about and share! Please put long posts and entries involving diet and nutrition behind a cut, though.

5. Aside from intro posts and injury announcements, please try to include an exercise update in every post.

I think I missed check in yesterday, if so yesterday was gym day. Managed to increase treadmill, bike and handbike by one minute each.

Today is a rest day.

I feel a bit off today. Only 20 minutes of yoga this morning, and I did 25 minutes of c25k w1d2. I couldn't quite do the last interval. It was way too hot and I couldn't wait to get back inside. Usually I'm happy to be out, but the heat came back in full force today.

Two mile run/walk, followed by crunches and stretches.

It was really hard to get out there today - stressful things have been happening these past few days (nothing bad, just nerve-wracking) and I haven't been sleeping well. Slept in late and it was already pretty hot by the time I got outside and my legs just didn't want to move. Still, I did my run, and my time wasn't great, but it wasn't horrible, either.

Didn't get quite as much done as I wanted to, but 65 min on the elliptical = just over 9km. Meh, it'll do.

Hee! It's one of the only machines in the gym that I enjoy and that has the ability to plug in my iPod and play videos, so I can go for quie a while. ;)

Hi! I'm new and prone to lurking, but I'll try to check in daily.

Walked 3.5 miles and, for fun (after seeing them linked in others' posts), did the initial tests for the 100 pushups (poor), 200 situps (average), and 200 squats (good).

I moved house and did some yoga. Left my running shoes at my parents', four hours drive away (to a British person, this is a long way). Oops.
