Yoga this morning was from Fluid Power - Dancing Warrior 1008 prep and Dancing Warrior 1008.
You can see just a snippet of this sun salutation here at minute 1:53-2:30. Lots of
Vasisthasana and what Ms. Rea describes as Parsva Vasisthasana, which is a kind of backwards arched variation. It also incudes what she calls "Side Chaturanga" and what the inimitable
zats_clear says looks like she's fallen and can't get up. Sadly, the clip doesn't show the whole vinyasa, so you can't see that part. If you go to minute 2:50 you can see the way the legs are in the posture, though you have to imagine her up on her arms as in Plank, then going down in to Chaturanga, with her legs in those positions. With my current upper body strength, I can't even pretend that I can do it as Chaturanga, and I stay in Plank, thank you very much. :D Anyway, total of 25 minutes prep and vinyasa. Lots and lots of sweating. Lots.
Also, Week 1, Day 2 of
the hundred pushups program and Week 3, Day 2 of
the two hundred situps program. Again, with counterposes:
Dhanurasana and
Urdhva Dhanurasana. Max pushups today was 10, situps was 45.
Darn it, just realized I planned to do some wall work while my shoulders were warm and I forgot. Well, barely got out the door on time anyway, so probaby for the best.
