Hey, EED community!

Here is your daily check-in post! Hope everyone is having a great day!

If you are posting for the first time, or new to the community, please review the community's standards, below.


1. Mod (that's me!) will post a Daily Check In post, for those who prefer to note their daily activities in response to a prompt. Please only place exercise comments here.

2. All members are encouraged to post daily independent posts about their activities, if they prefer that to a prompt.

3. Please place any NON-EXERCISE comments in independent update posts and behind a cut. Some people are sensitive to discussion of diet and nutrition. That is integral to many people's exercise activities, so I want members to be able to discuss that, but for those who are here strictly to log exercise, I would like them to be able to avert their eyes.

4. Everyone is encouraged to introduce themselves, discuss their exercise goals, and post updates on their activities. "I finally made it to running a mile!" or "I kicked up into handstand today!" are updates that we all want to hear about and share! Please put long posts and entries involving diet and nutrition behind a cut, though.

5. Aside from intro posts and injury announcements, please try to include an exercise update in every post.

Barbara Benagh's Power Yoga for Every Body, Challenging Level, "Invigorating" set.

I don't feel invigorated - I feel wobbly and slightly nauseous. (Good thing I don't have to be at work until 10:30.) If I were serious, really serious, about choosing my next 40 Day practice to truly challenge me, it would be this one: long long chaturangas and up dogs, long side planks, bakasana, wheel. But at the moment I just feel sick and miserable. *is woeful*

Ginger tea, and some work outside in the nice fresh air, and I'm feeling much much better.

I'm still "auditioning" for my 40 Day selection. There was the Good Morning Extended set, on this same dvd, that worked well the other day. And there's Rodney Yee, with Half Moon and Warrior III as well as Wheel, where I can perfect my standing balance poses. Bakasana certainly isn't going to go away (my daily practice isn't going away, either; I'm hooked) so I could put off today's set for yet another 40 Day sequence.

Also, ow, and am I sure I was ready to go from the beginner I routine on the DVD to the beginner II routine?

Apparently today was 'clear out the shopping list' day. That list has been growing for about a month now.

Three dozen paper bags. All full. Most full with things heavy enough that Mom's not allowed to lift them with her strained shoulder.

Guess who's the only other one home?
