Amira Mor: Belly Dance Your Way to a Feminine Total Body Workout
Good for core. OK instruction, much better on some things than others. About 50 minutes - I skipped the best part - the free dance at the end because I was pressed for time - I think that would have made it one hour.
By far the worst production quality of any video I own. It was film of a dance class at a Bally Fitness gym. You could see the adjacent classrooms through the glass where there were aerobics classes going on. Ambient lighting. On the other hand, the class was totally normal people, including one little girl. They all clearly were advanced beginning or intermediate students - not total beginners. But they were totally real. And interestingly, they did a good job on getting a lot of camera angles on the moves, and Ms. Mor, a professional dancer, did a good job of showing off what she was doing to the camera.
So. A mixed review. But a fun change from my normal, and a lot lighter workout than I usually do. Gave my body a break after yesterday - there were some definite complaints this morning.
