Hey, EED community!

Here is your daily check-in post! Hope everyone is having a great day!

If you are posting for the first time, or new to the community, please review the community's standards, below.

1. Mod (that's me!) will post a Daily Check In post, for those who prefer to note their daily activities in response to a prompt. Please only place exercise comments here.

2. All members are encouraged to post daily independent posts about their activities, if they prefer that to a prompt.

3. Please place any NON-EXERCISE comments in independent update posts and behind a cut. Some people are sensitive to discussion of diet and nutrition. That is integral to many people's exercise activities, so I want members to be able to discuss that, but for those who are here strictly to log exercise, I would like them to be able to avert their eyes.

4. Everyone is encouraged to introduce themselves, discuss their exercise goals, and post updates on their activities. "I finally made it to running a mile!" or "I kicked up into handstand today!" are updates that we all want to hear about and share! Please put long posts and entries involving diet and nutrition behind a cut, though.

5. Aside from intro posts and injury announcements, please try to include an exercise update in every post.

I went out to do C25K week 2 day 3 today, so "alternate 90 seconds of jogging and two minutes of walking" 6 times. But then I realized my iPod's batteries had run out.

So I went to the field I have been running at, guessed that the previous days I had been running half a round and walking half a round and decided to try to run a full round and walk half a round three times. And so I did that.

I just looked up the distance that was and was quite pleasantly surprised: I had done 500 meters of running and 250 meters of walking three times. That's more than necessary for week three. I think I'll deviate from my plan from now on and go for distance instead of time.

Okaaay, I am getting more and more unwell every day, instead of better. Done some gentle yoga, but other than that, I give in.

Erk. Yes, definitely a good idea not to push it when you're ill.

Hope you feel better soon!

Me too. Crawling into and out of my bunk bed is starting to feel like a lot of exercise, ugh.

Today, for the first time, I did it all.

Half Moon, balancing on each leg. Warrior III, on each leg (a bit wobbly on the left, but that's no surprise). Wheel pose - four, five, six times? A breath or two each time, not held anywhere near as long as he did on his three, but still.

Wheel pose. When I did it last week I was giddy, joyful, but somehow felt that it was a fluke, and that I'd never be able to do it again. Not so. I did it. I did it. I did it all.

*Is awestruck rather than giddy today*

Walked for about 15 minutes, and meant to do more later in the day...but I didn't.
