I say that, but I didn't do any miles. It was cold and I had a doctor's appointment, so I put on a dance video instead.

But the miles I'm concerned with is the ones on my running shoes. I just got a new pair last month and I want to keep track of the miles for replacement purposes. I tend to wear holes in the soles before I replace, but I know that's not good for my feet and ankles. Anyone have a method?

if you have a fitbit, apple watch, or similar tracker, that can help you keep track of milage.

If using a device that tracks miles doesn't work for you, using a spreadsheet would work, or a notebook (though you'll have to do the addition!) Even an estimate is still useful. Maybe work out a reasonable equivalent of time/miles if you wear your running shoes when you're doing other exercise, like dancing.
