Sep. 15th, 2010 12:16 pmYesterday I had my 12 week reassesment for the programme I'm in. Success! I'll be carrying on but I thought this is a good point to boast gloat share my improvements.
On the treadmill I've gone from 8 minutes at 2mph to 13 minutes at 2.5 mph,
The recumbent bike, 6 minutes at resistance 4 to 16 minutes at resistance 6,
On the handbike, 11 minutes to 14 minutes,
On the hip adductor I've doubled my reps to 60 at 20kg,
On the hip abductor and leg curl I've doubled my reps to 60 and increased the weight from 15kg to 20kg,
On the leg extension i've doubled my reps to 60 and also doubled the weight to 20kg,
Halfway though, I added in the seated leg press and I've just increased the weight on that.
Overall, my general fitness has improved quite a bit, my pain levels aren't any worse from the extra movement and my weight has finally, finally stabilised. I feel awesome and a lot more motivated than I have done in a long while!
