Hey, EED community!

Here is your daily check-in post! Hope everyone is having a great day!

If you are posting for the first time, or new to the community, please review the community's standards, below.


1. Mod (that's me!) will post a Daily Check In post, for those who prefer to note their daily activities in response to a prompt. Please only place exercise comments here.

2. All members are encouraged to post daily independent posts about their activities, if they prefer that to a prompt.

3. Please place any NON-EXERCISE comments in independent update posts and behind a cut. Some people are sensitive to discussion of diet and nutrition. That is integral to many people's exercise activities, so I want members to be able to discuss that, but for those who are here strictly to log exercise, I would like them to be able to avert their eyes.

4. Everyone is encouraged to introduce themselves, discuss their exercise goals, and post updates on their activities. "I finally made it to running a mile!" or "I kicked up into handstand today!" are updates that we all want to hear about and share! Please put long posts and entries involving diet and nutrition behind a cut, though.

5. Aside from intro posts and injury announcements, please try to include an exercise update in every post.

Yoga Total Body Workout. I noticed I'm doing much better with the meditation cues - before, it used to take me ages to get into the meditative state. I guess that's what the "practice" in "yoga practice" is all about!

Today. 100 situps and half an hour of meditative yoga. I need to do some major work on my flexibility, for it is nigh nonexistent. But I guess that's what the yoga is for. :)

Yoga is seriously good for flexibility. I can forward bend so much better now after, what, about a month of just a little yoga every day. It's lovely (and it's also lovely to accept the way my body is now and work with it, as yoga does). Good luck!

Yes!

I did some hatha yoga today, and it felt so good. To feel the stretch, but without any pain ... I'm already a yoga fan, haha.

Bit of a disrupted day. Morning yoga, then I got in a bit of study time with my new clubbells and my Strength Rituals DVD, beginning to learn some basic moves (so different from anything else, and wow, mercilessly exposing how much weaker my left wrist is).

Then another stint of yoga in the evening, just slow deep stretches for my legs because they've been very stiff since my last gym session.

A bit of yoga today, and pushups.

Travelling tomorrow, and moving into my new place, but my dad's promised if I'm ready by 9am tomorrow, he'll take me to my favourite place to run on our way to pick up some more of my stuff, when we get to Cardiff. Yaaay.

Busy week this week but I determinedly fitted in half-hour circuit and half-hour yoga. No jogging today. But I did walk to and from work.
