Today I did 35 minutes of a yoga/pilates blend. It feels pretty good. Then I did some ab work (crunches galore!).

Today was my weekly weigh in and I lost 2.8 pounds. So now I'm down to 201. I'm almost in Onederland! \o/ I think focusing on my fitness instead of the scale this past week has done me a lot of good. I put the scale away for the week and only took it out this morning to weigh in, then put it away again. I'm working hard on my fitness and the weight loss is just a bonus. :)

I've definitely found that focusing on fitness over weight loss is better. For one thing, if you can enjoy being fit for the sake of being fit, then you'll keep up the exercise even once you've lost the weight (and thus, one hopes, keep the weight off).
