Still recovering from (viral) bronchitis.
Standard Abdominals
Reduced arm workout (strained my rotator cuff)
15 minutes of shaking my booty to iTunes.
1 mile roundtrip walk to/from work.
Switched to generic T4 from Synthroid and I'm slightly less dry, but not as good as I'd like to be. However, I need a week where I'm not suffering from the tail-end of flu/bronchitis to make the true assessment.
Some people with Hashimoto's Disease like me find that taking iodine supplements makes the condition worse. I stopped taking my sea kelp tablets about 3 weeks ago and feel much better. More energy, fewer episodes of my throat being swollen up.
Stripping gluten out of my diet has also helped immensely in terms of how good I feel. I'm not being as strict as somebody with celiac disease, but I can certainly feel when I've had more than a trace amount.
And finally, this community has been a very good way for me to keep with a regular exercise plan, and I think that the fact that I was in fairly good shape (cardio/respiratory wise) played a role in me not having to go to the hospital, given how severe my bronchitis was. (You know it's bad when nobody needs a stethoscope to hear the rattling and wheezing and you can feel all that crap in your lungs with every breath.) I had that extra bit of lung capacity to get me over the edge.
