I usually start at 5:30 am and at 6:00 I need to go up the stairs to wake up my son to start his day. I could not believe how centered and tall I felt today, climbing up from the basement.
I think the emphasis on shoulders in this routine brings a lot of relaxation and alignment to your everyday movement. Also, I'm already adapting both to more exercise and this routine, as today when I finished I didn't feel completely wiped. Although that is also one thing I liked the first time I did this practice. I worked hard, but at the end, I wasn't completely exhausted. I think it is something about the pace she takes and where she places the pauses.
