10/23 work-out and wanderings

Jogged all over Hyde Park and Kensington Park this morning, then spent the afternoon walking around Chelsea and South Kensington. Ended up at the Victoria and Albert Museum, where Sturdy Helpmeet™ and I took in the exhibit on Postmodernism. (Fun exhibit, only mildly infuriating. I found myself wanting to see an examination about the relation/distinction between deconstructing a modernist take on how science and technology should or could inform life and art, on the one hand, and deconstructing science and technology and knowledge itself, on the other. Alas, that wasn't to be found. I think my favorite bit was the section devoted to Grace Jones.)
