Shiva Rea: Fluid Power. Used the matrix today. Did Mandala Namaskar I (10 min), Backbend Vinyasa (16 min), and Forward Bends (18 min), plus I did a really good Savasana, in the spirit of getting in a little meditation. I was very twisty and bendy today, for which tomorrow I will probably pay. We'll see.
UPDATE: My body is already asking me what the HECK I was thinking the last 24 hours. That side lunge is bad news. And while it is super awesome to get really, really deep in to
Upavistha Konasana, my groins aren't really totally ready for that. Ow. See illustrated the dangers of a shorter than one week layoff from yoga. All the bendy, all the stamina, none of the common sense. Ow.
UPDATE to August 25: Week 3, Day 2 of
the hundred pushups program and Week 5, Day 2 of
the two hundred situps program. Again, with counterposes:
Dhanurasana and
Urdhva Dhanurasana. OMG. That was, like, one zillion situps 30, 30, 36, 27, 27, 33, 75. Definitely one zillion. I'm also noticing that is WAY more than 200. *glares at program* Can't you people count?!
