Discussion continues about comm policies here, but consensus of the commenters seems to be that a check-in post would be very helpful to many comm participants.
So here's today's post to check-in!
However, I would also like to strongly encourage people to post independently, as
seleneheart and I did earlier today. Basically, use the check-in post or use your own individual post, whatever works best for you.
I'd also like to encourage people to introduce themselves if they are comfortable with that. Ramble as much as you like, but if you're going to be very long, please put the intro piece of your post behind a cut.
Especially, please place comments about weight, diet and nutrition behind the cut. (And just to emphasize, this community is about the exercise, not dieting! Those things are often interconnected, but in no way do you need to feel obligated to comment on anything related to anything except your daily exercise!)
ALSO! :D If you have goals in your exercise that you would like to post in the community, or accomplishments to mention as we move forward, I think that would be great, too! Since I'm hoping there will be a lot of posting (if we all post every day outside the check-in post that would be 13 (so far) posts every day), if you could do a free-standing daily report, with your other comments behind a cut to spare reading pages, that would be awesome.

Date: 2010-07-23 08:16 pm (UTC)Friday is normally the day I do my least amount of exercising, so that was done first thing this morning: 20 minutes on the elliptical machine followed by 5 minutes of stretches, forward-, and back-bends. I was thinking that since I had the afternoon off, I'd be able to get some pilates in later, but considering the HUGE lunch we just got back from, probably not.
So: yay Friday, Friday's goal met!

Date: 2010-07-24 08:49 am (UTC)So, my morning yoga practice and that's it.
Apart from a walk carrying an unwieldy heavy weight, but that was getting the groceries back from the store, not planned exercise *g*.
