I did 30 or so minutes of yoga today and 10 minutes of pilates. The yoga went really well! I managed the shoulder stand for about thirty seconds and then twenty seconds when I tried it again, and did the plow pose for a full minute! It's difficult for me to relax into the poses when I'm straining to hold them, but I'm slowly learning to at least relax parts of me.

And I lost three pounds this week! Making the grand total five pounds in two weeks, since I started changing my lifestyle and exercising and eating better. I'm so excited! \o/

I've found video podcasts really helpful, because then obviously you get the visual guide to alignment too.

Well done you! I haven't got on the scales for ages; I probably should, but I'm much preferring to measure things in 'how much more I can do'. It's a pretty good feeling now all this exercising and stuff as turned into something for its own sake rather than to lose weight. But I should get on the scales sometime...
