I have orthostatic hypotension. What that means is I have low blood pressure that, when I stand up too fast, makes the blood rush from my head and make me dizzy.
What that means is that I can't go from downward-facing dog to...pretty much anything without getting dizzy.
Ideas for flexibility exercises that have the same effect as down dog but don't involve dizzy me?

Date: 2011-08-08 03:39 pm (UTC)I don't think there'll be a version of sun salutations that doesn't have lots of down dogs in it. But perhaps you could put together something with lunges and the warrior poses, if you're looking for something flowing you can use to warm up?
