Anybody home? Anybody want to check in?

Me: Garden work! Even though it was much cooler than yesterday (when it was 70+). It was also much less windy. (Goodbye, National Christmas Tree.) Also: yoga. Good stuff. Sundays are awesome.

If anybody's new today, hello! Here are the Community Standards. I'm sure our Beloved Mod will be back tomorrow. Hope so, anyway.

Hi there! (*waves*)

Skipped lifting today and instead took the bicycle out for something more fresh air than usual. So, 40somthing km bicycling.

Little bit of yoga, lot of laps of the living room. (Lot more sitting and watching Lost Girl. Bad Ellie.)

Two hours climbing (traverse traverse traverse), 30 minutes cautious yoga.

Also I made icons of an exercise-related nature.

I haven't checked in for months. Life has been kicking me in the teeth, but I've been exercising most days, just not as much as I'd like. Today I did some time on an elliptical trainer and am aiming to do some yoga tonight.

On the upside, I am coming to fully appreciate how much better able I am to cope with life when I do exercise regularly. It's no longer a chore, but something I crave. I feel so much better in nearly every way it is possible to feel better when I can get myself moving.

It's great. Reminds me of where I grew up. Plus, I like her attitude.

I want to try the Bollywood ones later.

Even more amazing than what we do

I don't know, I think we're all pretty amazing too. *g*

And I'm glad I could share the f.lux love! It's such a nifty little thing; I'm amazed by how much difference it makes.

I've found that sitting and watching TV/DVDs/downloads on computer can be an extremely excellent time to do hip and hamstring stretches. Something about the distraction actually seems to help get my mind out of the way so I can sink deeper into the poses.

And it means I can feel I'm not vegging out really. *g*
