It feels completely different on pavement. A jog on pavement okay, I can do that. But on the treadmill it's way more strenuous than it feels like it should be.

Whether it's the lack of variation, having to make shorter strides, or trying to match pace with the belt - slower feels a lot harder.

My pace ended up being 6 km/h walking and wavering around 9 km/h running. I think I could do more but my shins haven't adjusted yet.
