redsnake05I have just signed up for a fitness project through my workplace, using hypoxia training. I've been meaning to get fitter and exercise more for a while, and the training and finding this comm have kind of coincided, so I am guessing that I should take it as a sign and get serious about that exercise goal.
I'm on the hypoxia project for the next seven weeks, and maybe longer depending on the results. It's a Physical Education experiment for some students and is looking at the effectiveness of active hypoxia versus passive hypoxia for reducing percentage body fat. It involves cardio, so I will be on the bike or treadmill five days a week.
Aside from this training, I like to bellydance (I've been doing that on and off for about 15 years) and walk, and I love yoga even though I am an absolute beginner. I used to mountain bike, but I need to get my bike fixed before I can do that again.
I'm curious to know if anyone else has had any experience with hypoxia training. I'm keen to hear about other people's experiences.
