*waves sheepishly*
As I was PM'd yesterday by someone checking on me... She politely didn't ask me if I were dead, but I could tell it was what she was thinking... Well, I thought I would check in.
( Cut for non-exercise commentary )That said, I have actually managed to maintain my New Year's resolution to do at least some yoga every day. Some days it is a tiny bit, but I have only actually missed 3 days. They were all Saturdays, I believe, and since I often fall down exhausted in my bed and pass out around 8:45 on Saturday night, well, sometimes I forget stuff.
Core strength has really developed, as the Sadie Nardini obsession continues. I cannot say enough about what she can do for your yoga practice. Hip flexibility also a new plateau, as my fall back for every day yoga is basically the Seated Postures and Twists from Shiva's Yoga Shakti. Repetition is the mother of understanding. Or something. Still completely stymied by the bind for Ardha Matseyandrasana (or however you spell it). I think it must be a shoulder flexibility thing. Or else it is one of those things that is much easier for really skinny yogis who have less "flesh" in the way, as the instructors so kindly put it.
So! Not dead! Just writing like a maniac!
Love,
CK
