Hi, quick question:
As of lately, I've been doing strictly cardio on mondays, wed, and fridays.. I do arms on Tue and Legs on Thur..
I'm wondering if I'm leaving too much time in between? should I be doing upper and lower body on both tuesday and thursday, instead of keeping them seperate? (given that there is so much time in between that I'm not working them out.)

Or should I continue doing this for the next 4 weeks, and then when I change the routine again, just do them both on the 2 days instead of what I'm doing now?
Or what?

Thanks in advance for any help.

You could do both arms and legs on both days, but unless you are training with some goal other than "more strength and some muscles", doing them seperately won't hurt IMO.

Though, if you do legs on Thursday and *can* do cardio on Friday with some success, maybe you are already too deep into a routine or do not challenge yourself as much as you could? Or you just regenerate fast. (Lucky you, then!)

Just to check -- other body parts (like your back and core) are getting worked at some point in the week, right?

I've always done arms and legs together and had it work out fine. My main issue is trying to avoid working out adjacent muscle groups because sometimes the fatigue in an adjacent muscle can limit your work on another muscle. Arms and legs are nicely far apart from each other. :)

But you are :) Cardio still challenges at least some of these muscles. Maybe do cardio that works most muscles (like kickboxing, my new favorite) one or two days if ou are worried?
