September Challenge
We've been up and running now for over a month!
There's a core group checking in, but we've fallen back from our initial enthusiastic beginning.
If you haven't checked in for a while, update us on what you've been up to!
Also, I was thinking. Here it is, the first day of the month. Do you think you can exercise (almost) every day this month? Nothing like a clean slate for inspiration!
Another thing. How would the community feel about planning a day that we ALL exercise? I was thinking a Saturday or Sunday - maybe the 18th or 19th? Maybe we can have a check in from every community member on one day? That would be awesome! Let me know what you think!

Ooh, hey, maybe this could be a regular thing? First of the month, have a post where people who maybe don't feel comfortable reporting in every day could say what they've been up to?

Thing is, I haven't been doing any traditional exercise (to my shame). Still haven't managed to join up at the gym yet. (Saturday morning. Saturday morning.)
But yesterday I did what I'm going to call the Librarian's Workout: with the help of a volunteer, I finished shifting the entire Junior Non-fiction section. I only wish I'd had my pedometer on, because that would have been a lot of steps, and it certainly gave my arms a good work out.

(And the shame part isn't good. Getting any exercise in, of any kind, is a start. No shame! Just promises to incorporate whatever you need in your own good time.)
