"Policy" on rest days
Haha! A person who shall remain anonymous asked, "What's your policy on rest days?"
There is no policy! I just found that when I participated in a community like this on LJ, I tried really hard to exercise, even a little bit, every day, though some days it was just not possible, and that's the way life is.
So! No policy, because the intention of this group will be to encourage and support, not to pressure!

Personally, I've found it's important for me to have a rest day at least once a week (for values of "rest" including easy yoga), or I can push myself too much and then crash and not do anything for weeks.
The rest day will often shuffle around the week to fit around my life (so if I get a migraine and can't exercise, or I have a super-busy day and don't have time, I'll count that as my rest day for the week). But it's good to have it there, physically and psychologically.
So yay for support not pressure!
