Today I Learned
TIL that I needed to go faster on the treadmill for running portions, not slower. It was so much more bearable than trying to maintain a jog.
Treadmill cardio works now.
I did 2.5km with alternating runs and walks. Extra sprint and jog outside.

Whether it's the lack of variation, having to make shorter strides, or trying to match pace with the belt - slower feels a lot harder.
My pace ended up being 6 km/h walking and wavering around 9 km/h running. I think I could do more but my shins haven't adjusted yet.

The treadmill makes me keep going...except that when it wants to go at a pace that doesn't work with my stride, then I end up in strife!
Your body will adjust, it takes a few goes.
