Skipped the past few days. Too damn hot out.

The cure for that: Exercising at three in the morning. :-D

After pushups and Dancing Warrior 1008 yesterday, not to mention the handstand work I did later in the day, my shoulders are killing me. Not to mention that I *maybe* overdid my wide angle seated forward bend yesterday.

So today, I gave my body a break and just burned a massive quantity of calories. My old friend, TammiLee Webb and Arms and Abs of Steel 2000. I did not do the abs section since today is abs rest day. Only the step-arms interval section - about 5 minutes warm up, 20 minutes stepping, 10 minutes arms with 5 and 10 pound weights, and a really tiny cool down.

Arm weights? You ask. Well. It was mostly triceps, biceps and delts, but yes, the overhead press KILLED.

Sweating like a pig now.

UPDATE August 5, 2010: My son came home from camp sick yesterday, so I had an unexpected "vacation" day. Went out on the deck and did some handstand work (about 10-15 minutes), then came back in and did Heart-Air from Shiva Rea: Daily Energy, and the Seated Forward Bends and Twists on Yoga Shakti. It was a glorious day of yoga, and I felt wonderful, but I also overdid it a little in my enjoyment of the moment. Today, I am suffering from the excess, but not too much.
